This relationship also provides a multifaceted ability to consider residential proposals alongside those suitable for the care sector.
Igloo Later Living is led by Scott Pluthero who brings 20+ years experience gained in the property development industry, having worked for FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 organisations such as Berkeley Homes, McCarthyStone and Morgan Sindall, where he led the Land and Planning teams.
Scott is passionate about the later living sector having delivered multiple retirement living, extra care and care home schemes across the UK. While working for the largest provider of retirement accommodation, based in the Southeast, he delivered more than £330m of revenue through acquisition of retirement/extra care sites. Under Scott’s leadership, Igloo Later Living has recently achieved four unanimous back-to-back planning approvals consisting of three care homes and a retirement scheme, continuing the 100% planning success rate of the business. To date the business has delivered a combined GDV in excess of £150m and continues to add to its development pipeline targeting areas where the need for later living accommodation is at its greatest.
